Our terms of service, privacy policy, and refund policy
Last updated: 28 October 2026
RoyaltyPro is a desktop application for UK composers and songwriters that helps you analyse your PRS for Music royalty statements. The service includes the desktop application (the "App") and the member portal at member.royaltypro.app (the "Portal").
By creating an account or using RoyaltyPro, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when creating your account, and the About you details you give us must be truthful. One account per person — sharing accounts is not permitted.
RoyaltyPro offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through our payment partner, Paddle. By subscribing, you authorise Paddle to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Prices are displayed in GBP and include applicable taxes. Paddle is the Merchant of Record and handles all payment processing, invoicing, and tax compliance on our behalf.
New users receive a free trial period to evaluate the service. No payment is required during the trial. At the end of the trial, you may subscribe to a paid plan or continue on the free tier with limited features.
A voucher code may extend your free trial for the period stated when you receive it. Vouchers have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and we may withdraw a code that is misused.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the member portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then.
You may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase by emailing support@royaltypro.app. Refunds are processed by Paddle. See our Refund Policy for full details.
You agree not to:
Accounts are for active personal or business use of RoyaltyPro. To keep the service fair we may review how the App is used, using the counts described in our Privacy Policy, and may contact you where an account is not being used.
RoyaltyPro and all associated content, code, and branding are the property of RoyaltyPro. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the App. Your data remains yours at all times.
RoyaltyPro is an analytics tool designed to provide general insights and trends. It is not financial, accounting, or tax software. Always verify important figures against your official PRS statements. We are not liable for decisions made based on data presented by the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoyaltyPro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
If you choose to publish an Online Profile, it becomes a public web page at a link you choose, and anyone with the link can see what you put in it. You are responsible for what you publish. It must be yours to publish (including the name, text, links, pictures and music you choose to show), it must not pretend to be another person or organisation, and it must follow section 7. A profile contains only what you put into it — your royalty statements and financial data are never part of it.
You can change or delete your profile at any time, and deleting it removes it from our servers. We may remove a profile, or stop a name being used, if it breaks these terms, impersonates someone, or is reported and found to be harmful, and we may make publishing available only on certain plans. Pictures and music previews shown on a profile come from third parties (such as TVmaze and Deezer) and remain theirs; we do not host them.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Portal. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you have questions about these terms, contact us at support@royaltypro.app.

When you create an account, we collect:
If you choose to publish an Online Profile, we also store what you put in it: the name, tagline, bio, text blocks, contact line and social links you type; the pictures and tracks you pick (kept as ID numbers and picture addresses from TVmaze and Deezer); the web address (name) you choose; and a count of how many times the page has been opened (a number only — nothing about who opened it). You may also choose to include three totals: shows, stations and works. A profile is public by design: anyone with the link can see it.
This is the important part:
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We use the following third-party services:
These services have their own privacy policies and process only the minimum data needed to provide their function.
If you publish an Online Profile, anyone who opens it has their browser load pictures from TVmaze and album covers from Deezer’s image servers; if you included them, music previews are played by Deezer and videos by YouTube, but only when the visitor presses play. Those services can see the visitor’s connection in the way any website would. Our servers look up each track’s title, artist and cover from Deezer’s public service in the background, sending Deezer only the track number. We add no trackers, advertising or analytics to profile pages; the one small script on a profile page only controls the music player.
We keep your account information for as long as you have an account. If you ask us to delete your data we remove your account and everything described in section 1 from our systems, normally within 30 days. Encrypted backups of our database are replaced every 7 days, so a deleted record disappears from them within a week. Paddle keeps its own payment records for as long as tax law requires.
Account data is stored on secure servers. Your royalty data is stored only on your own computer and is never transmitted to us. A published Online Profile is stored on our servers until you delete it.
You have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@royaltypro.app.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising pixels or advertising cookies, and we do not share your activity with advertising networks. When you arrive through an advert or a tagged link we set one small first-party cookie (rp_attr, kept for 90 days) that remembers which one brought you, so we can tell which of our own adverts work. Online Profile pages set no cookies at all.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
